AquaEL STERILIZER UV AS 5W 2.0 is a device that purifies water in an aquarium using UV-C radiation. The steriliser eliminates harmful bacteria, fungi and parasites. It combats the effects of white and green water. It kills pathogenic microorganisms, which significantly affects the health of fish. The device is installed in a filtration system, where water flows through it, subjected to UV-C radiation, which helps maintain the cleanliness and health of the aquarium environment.
The steriliser can work outdoors and in full immersion conditions. The housing of the device is made of durable radiation-resistant material and is fully sealed, meeting the IPX8 protection standard. For safety, it has been additionally equipped with a switch that automatically turns off the UV-C fluorescent lamp when the steriliser is opened without disconnecting it from the power supply. The lamp has a very efficient filament that allows for 10 thousand hours of operation.
