The Aquael Dolomit Gravel is a fine and natural substrate that is distributed in the aquarium. The gravel made from dolomite rock creates impressive contrasts in the aquarium thanks to its light colour.
The natural substrate material does not contain any artificial additives or coatings, which is why it does not release any harmful substances. Dolomite gravel always contains calcium, which influences the total hardness (GH). This effect should be counteracted with regular water changes, especially when CO2 is added. Due to these properties, it is particularly suitable for aquariums with fish that prefer hard and alkaline water, such as species from Lake Malawi, Lake Tanganyika and Lake Victoria.
