Dark Iron Wood is beautiful driftwood that is quite heavy and solid. It sinks in water almost immediately (smaller pieces may need some time). The Iron Wood originated from Rio Negro, the biggest sideline of Amazonas.

This name means “Black Water” in Spanish, coming from the colour of the water. Iron Wood will give a brownish colour to your water! You can prevent that by using Seachem Purigen in your filter system.

The average size of single roots: is about 40-60cm
